Dear Teachers,
This unit was created as a project for 'Multiculturalism
in Art,' a Distinguished Fellows Workshop sponsored by the National Arts
Education Association and The Ohio State University. It
is hoped that you will be able to use this unit not only to teach your
students about the fascinating world of Chinese culture and art, but also
to inspire in them a respect and acceptance for other cultures and their
people.
The lesson plans will guide you
through the unit in an easy-to-follow sequence. While this unit is
designed for 3rd graders, it could easily be adapted to older elementary
or middle school students. If you have any questions or comments
